Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is targeting a new customer base with their new array of heavy forklift trucks. Various businesses, from the natural stone and concrete industries, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all working with and relying on heavy duty equipment. The efficiency and power offered by the models keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for efficient work. These machinery can excel in the nearly all tough environments.
Offering the needed power on all of the large capacity models, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with the 6 cylinder engines. These models are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on steep slopes and rough terrain and offers great acceleration too.
In order to select 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator could use a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on difficult terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machine comfortable to use and easy to maneuver.
A spacious and comfortable working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on offering the nice atmosphere which Hyundai machines are supposed to have.
